ABOUT THE ARTIST: Ukrainian painter. Karl Alfredovich Tanpeter was born on July 24, 1926 in the city of Gorky. From 1943 to 1948 he studied at the Kharkov State Art School, and from 1948 to 1955 - at the Kharkov State Art Institute in the workshop of Professor P. Kotov and his assistant L. Chernov. Since 1956 K.A. Tanpeter is a participant of republican, all-Union and foreign art exhibitions. The artist's personal exhibitions were held in Kharkov (1957) and in Kyrgyzstan in the city of Tashkumir (1975). Member of the Union of Artists of the Ukrainian SSR since 1965. Since 1976 Tanpeter K.A. taught at the Kharkov State Art Institute. He worked in the field of easel painting. Master of landscape, portrait and still life.
